The SCCDP 2023 Strategic Plan Highlights, below is a look at the latest economic development impact numbers in Seward County:

A Commuting Patterns study was completed to show that large employers in the City of Seward are able to attract workers from a large geographic area (20 counties) with a population base of more than one-million people. Population in those 20 counties is 1.35 million. Most workers live within 30 miles of the City of Seward or within roughly 45 minutes travel time. However, a small number of workers travel much further than 30 miles to work in the City of Seward. Read the full study.
