Seward County Economic Development Corporation formed in May 2006 and became a 501c6 public and private partnership on July 1, 2011. The board of directors is made up of 6 public (elected officials who are appointed to serve) and 6 private sector members (they contribute annually to SCEDC), who are appointed each fall from an election of their private sector member peers.
